Customer experience fabrics offer a holistic, journey-level view of service delivery and consumption. This paper introduces AI-native service interfaces—a new class of interface, distinct from conventional human-facing and automated interfaces, designed explicitly for consumption by intelligent machines rather than people. By embedding predictive functionalities into the customer journey, these interfaces shift service delivery from a reactive to a predictive model and enhance the resilience of underlying operations.
The paper identifies the data acquisition and fusion methods required to predict user intentions, service requests, and incident occurrences, and examines how redundancy, fault tolerance, and self-healing architectures—the three critical dimensions of operational resilience—support this predictive model. It further describes the architectural, operational, and data interdependencies that govern these predictive capabilities. Empirical evidence from AI-enabled tiered customer support in e-commerce substantiates the analysis.
