Generative AI DevOps for FinTech Cloud Systems
Keywords:
Generative AI, DevOps, Automation, Cloud-Native, Financial Services, Governance, Data Privacy, Explainability.Abstract
For cloud-native financial platforms, scalability is a key non-functional requirement. Open banking and fintech ecosystems dependent on cloud-native platforms are also subject to many requirements related to risk management, security, and compliance with confidentiality and privacy. Satisfying those requirements requires that the DevOps approach ensures the necessary level of governance, monitoring, verification, validation, and testing of the systems throughout their life cycle. Moreover, these needs differ between the development and operations life cycles, as well as across platform architectural layers.
Generative AI offers significant opportunities for automating DevOps practices in cloud-native environments. Based on Generative AI techniques, the proposed reference architecture enables intelligent automation of key DevOps activities within given limits, with continuous learning and improvement loops. Automation scenarios include policy-driven provisioning and configuration that align with internal standards and external regulation; intelligent incident response and remediation for rapid recovery without human intervention; and AI-assisted testing and verification that leverage synthetic data to increase coverage of diplayed areas.
